BI Reporting on Solution Manager

Hello,

My requirement is to perform reporting on Solution Manager using separate BW system. Can someone please help me with information on below questions.

1. What points need to consider while choosing separate BW system strategy?

2. Will the BI Content activation step in tcode SOLMAN_SETUP of Solution Manager system install the required BI content in separate BW system or need to perform manual activity in BW system?

3. How data from Solution Manager will be sent to Solman BI Objects (like DSO and Cube)?
