I'm loking to make a change to an existing LO Delta extractor that is live in BWP. I think I know what im doing. See below. However the only question I have is do I also need to delete old PSA data or can I leave that? Also am I missing anything in the atached plan.
BWD:
Clear down set up tables (LBWG)
Run program to collect data to Delta Queue (LBWE or edit existing jobs).
Run Delta’s in BW.
Check RSA7 contains zero entries and that LBWQ has no entries.
Make the changes to the extract structure as needed.
Unhide the field in the data source (the newly added field will be hidden by default).
Reactivate the data source.
Run program to collect data to Delta Queue (LBWE or edit existing jobs).
Run Delta’s in BW.
BWQ:
Delete the set up tables (LBWG)
Close the system. Make sure no one can update data.
Run program to collect data to Delta Queue (LBWE or edit existing jobs).
Run Delta’s in BW.
Check RSA7 contains zero entries and that LBWQ has no entries.
For certainty re-run Deltas.
Import (transport) the change
Replicate datasource.
Run program to collect data to Delta Queue (LBWE or edit existing jobs).
Run Delta
