Error While Activating Standard DSO - 'The creation of the export DataSource failed'

Hi ALL,

I am creating a standard DSO using a flat file.  After the fields are assigned, I cannot activate the DSO.  After the - Creating Export DataSource and dependent Objects step, I get this error -      

"The creation of the export DataSource failed"  with red sign next to it. 

The activation of Dictionary object failed. 

And, I get kicked out of the system to log on screen.

Can someone help me here... thanks in advance.
