Bad performance on CO-PA extraction

Hi experts

 

We are having a problem on the ERP side when extracting CO-PA data through a generic datasource.

 

At this moment we apply the solution of SAP note 1333417 - Performance problems when processing IDocs immediatelyinto our system.

As we understood it correctly, the solution must be only implemented on the ERP side.

 

Do you have any further hints or reference settings from your side which might help us to increase the extraction performance?

We had delays sending IDocs over many hours.

setup table filling job ran very loong time

Hi All,

 

I faced some weird problem while filling setup table.

 

I have to drop and reload inventory cube. I started job for filling setup table for data source BF for inventory. I am not using BX data source. That job was running fo rlonger time.. when i checked the record count in MC03BFSETUP table it was only 1.2 lacs however it was not expected. total record count in cube IN BI is 18 million.  I had to cancel the job because business wanted to get access to sap system

 

I am not using any selection while filling set up table.

 

SO guys please help me in finding out what went wrong and wht could be the solution for this.

 

Please help me as soon as possible.

What happens to records created when filling setup tables without deleting delta queue?

Hi All,

 

My question is in regards to deleting and reloading our Inventory cube in BI. It is a custom z cube but we are using the 2LIS_03_BF and 2LIS_03_UM extractors to load it. Because we are using AFS we also used the 2LIS_AF_STOCK_INITIALIZATION extractor as well. I don't want to delete the entire cube as you all know that the timing of loading goods movement data can be very tricky with regards to business down time and locking users out which is impossible for us at the moment. What I am thinking is deleting a subset of data from the cube (plant 1000 for example) and then doing a full load of plant 1000 from our ECC system and going through all of the plants until all have been reloaded. I figure this would cause the least amount of downtime for the business.

 

My only issue is deleting and filling the setup tables in ECC. Since I am not deleting the delta queues, while I delete and fill the setup tables what will happen to newly created records? will they get lost or will they sit in the queue LBWQ until I run my delta queue collection job again?

Delta for ZFields in 2LIS_11_VAITM Data Source Not Getting Properly

Hi,

 

We are facing Delta Issue in 2LIS_11_VAITM Data Source.

 

In R/3, as per my client business requirement they enhanced VBAK table, and we added all those fields in 2LIS_11_VAITM Structure.

 

Day to day delta for ZFields are not coming properly and If we do full load and data is coming fine.

 

Due to this we are doing full load once in a month.

 

Kindly guide me to resolve this issue.

Is anyone familiar with re-extracting a delta batch using the FPOP extractor?

Hi,

 

While attempting to resolve a failed process chain that uses the FPOP (Business Partner) extractor, I accidentally deleted the delta from the PSA.  In order to retrieve that data, I need to somehow tell FPOP to extract those records again.

 

As an example, we had to do this in the past for the EBW_DQ_SS (Sales Statistics) extractor.  That extractor is based on reconciliation keys, so in order to extract that data again we had to:  1)  Look in table DBESTA_BWPROTH to find the reconciliation keys from the timeframe we needed to re-extract.  2) Use function module ISU_S_DBESTA_BWPROT_UPDATE to put those keys back into table DBESTA_BWPROT.  3) Rerun the extractor and process chain like normal.

 

So, can anyone familiar with the FPOP extractor tell me the steps to re-extract delta from there?

FI SL Extractor Issue - Table not available in T800A

In ECC we have a Transparent Totals table created(ZSPLT),while generating Extractor for BW using BW01 Tcode..it gives me an error:

 

Table ZSPLT is not a FI-SL summary table (type TT in T800A)..

 

Table is active and when I check the table group in GCIN it gives no error.

 

Please Help...

Error has occurred in RSDRO_UPDATE_ODS

Hi ,

   How do we solve

   'Error has occurred in RSDRO_UPDATE_ODS'

   'No authorization to read infosource'?

    We had a source system copy in QA . After that I am not able to load any of the BW 3.5 ODSs.

     

    If anybody resolved this error  could you please let me know how do we resolve this error.

We have done an enhancement for this Datasource , and for a full load it works, but when we do a delta doesnot work? any specific reason for this ?

Data not present in IP but available in ECC

I have asked  MMM team to create the purchase order for the respected Material and Plant in ecc system  but when i ran IP for that datasource i didnt fetched the PO which thy have created.

 

could you pls help me that  what should i do to fetch the data in BI system.

0FI_GL_4 delta load issue

Hi Experts,

 

 

We are not able to load the delta for 0FI_gl_4 datsource. This is the first time we are performing the load in a new ECC system.

Full load is successfully completed and while doing the delta its taking lot of time to load and finally the job is failing in source system with short dump

TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED .


We are performing the below steps.


Init w/o datatransfer(comp code selection)

full load(particular company code)

delta



If any one has faced the similar issue pls let us know.

Safety interval upper and Lower limit

Hi Gurus,

 

Im very new to the FI extraction. Please clarify my understanding is correct?

 

Safety Interval Upper Limit

 

Suppose the timestamp that was read last is 12:00:00. Delta extraction begins at 12:30:00. The safety interval for the upper limit is 120 seconds. The safety interval for the delta request is: 12:00:00 to 12:28:00. Upon completion of the extraction, the pointer is set to 12:28:00.

 

1 Q: For the next extraction , the delta begins at 12:28:00 ( because the pointer is set to 12:28:00), As the safety interval for the upper limit is 120 seconds. The delta request will from 12:28:00 to 12:58:00 and the pointer is set to 12:58:00.

 

Is this correct?

 

If yes, then what is the use of giving this upper limit. Anyhow its going to extract the half hour data. Instead of extract the data from 12:00;00 to 12:30:00 and 12:30:00 to 13:00:00 , it is extracting from 12:00:00 to 12:28:00 and 12:28:00 to 12:58:00.

 

If no, how will the next delta extraction take place.

 

2 Q : In 0FL_GL_4 datasource, how to find the safety interval limit. I checked in RSAO2 but i could not find it. I have activated the datasource and it existing in RSA6 also. Is there any per-requistie to see the safety interval limit?

2LIS_03_BX / BF Update Mode

I'm looking at using the LO Extractors 2LIS_03_BX / BF Inventory Controlling. All the other LO Cockpit extractors we have use the Update Method Queued Delta but the default for 2LIS_03_BX / BF seems to be Unsereialized V3 Update. Is there any reason why this is the default and is there any reason why I shouldnt change this to Queued Delta.

BAPI's for Price Waterfall

Hi,

 

 

I need to extract data from SAP for a price waterfall analysis. The analysis will
be combined with non-SAP data which is why I need to identify the relvant data
in various ERP systems (incl. SAP) for this analysis. In the analysis I need
order details, pricing details, discount details, cost details (incl. COGS).
Can anyone direct me to BAPI's that will support the extraction of such data? I
am familiar with the BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST function, but I need pricing, discount
and costs data as well.

No Delta Records for 0FI_AA_11, 12

Hi All,

In our project we are using the Asset accounting extractors.

 

BADI - FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE has been activated on 14.11.2013.

 

Then the datasource have been initialized (Initialize with Data transfer):

 

0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT Initilized on 26.11.2013 07:06:24

0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR Initilized on 26.11.2013 07:09:30

0FI_AA_11 Initialized on 26.11.2013 on 07:11:13

0FI_AA_12 Initialized on 26.11.2013 on 07:17:52

 

There are entries in the following tables:

BWFIAA_AEDAT_TR - 50

BWFIAA_AEDAT_AS - 8
BWFIAA_AEDAT_AB - 35

 

However when I execute the delta infopackages I get delta records only for 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT. All the other extractors fetch 0 delta records although I am executing them in the same sequence as given above.

 

Any help or pointers to solve this issues is appreciated.

Other ledgers to 0FI_GL_12

Hi,

 

We are using 0FI_GL_12 datasource to get Balances of Leading ledgers (0L). Now we have requirement to get other ledgers data as well (like Z1, Z2).

Could you please provide some ideas how can I get this information into BI cube.

Unable to edit KF properties in Open Hub Destination

Hello BW experts,

 

I am unable to edit one of the KF properties in Oen Hub Destination. The requirement is to send data with 2 decimal places. Ex : If the actual data in cube is 100.69 USD, currently only 100 USD is getting populated. This KF is currently defined as NUMC with length 15 and no decimal place is defined. When trying to edit the OHD field properties with decimal place as 2, I am getting below message.

Appreciate your inputs if any how to change the OHD field properties which populate data as 100.69.

 

Error Log : Decimal Places  Row 0: Property cannot be changed

 

Long text :

Row 0: Property cannot be changed

Message no. RSB_GUI068

Diagnosis

The template InfoObject is filled. The properties are determined from the template InfoObject.

System Response

The change is not made. It is undone when the object is saved or activated.

Procedure

Delete the template InfoObject or use the external output format (FORMAT column).

0PRODORDER_ATTR - Order Status field?

Hi,

 

I want to filter manufacturing orders (0PRODORDER) in BW report which are closed. Datasource 0PRODORDER_ATTR delivers 3 status objects BWSTSYS0, BWSTSYS1, BWSTSYS2. But I am not sure which one is the correct object for Order status and what is the value/text for the same. I cannot find exact description of statuses for this objects.

 

How I am checking order status in R/3 -

1. Get OBJNR from AUFK for manufacturing order number

2. Enter OBJNR in JEST and check if it contains I0046 (CLSD) status which is active. If present, then order is closed.

 

I can derive above closed status manually by appending structure and adding required code, but I wanted to know if this information is already available in any of BWSTSYS0, BWSTSYS1, BWSTSYS2 fields in standard datasource 0PRODORDER_ATTR. If anyone has experience about this, please share. Thanks a lot.

ASTKZ in 0COORDER_ATTR

Hi All

 

I am trying to enhance 0COORDER_ATTR to extract ASTKZ (statistical internal order indicator).

The field is already in the list of fields as standard but the transfer box is not checked.

Is RSA3 a column for the field is displayed but the field remains blank when there should be data in it.

 

What do I need to do to extract this field.
