Stock valuation

Hi SCN

 

I have a standard cube for inventory initialised from 2LIS_03_BX and fed with movement data from 2LIS_03_BF and revals from 2LIS_03_UM but when stock is received from transit, I get the quantity transferred from Transit to Unrestricted but the value does not move.

I therefore see the correct picture for stock quantity and value but when drilled down by stock type, the value and quantity "split" with the value still in Transit.

 

Any thoughts ?

Enhancements on 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL

Hi Gurus,

 

I have added three new fields to extractor 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL as Customer Enhacements. Tow of them as a new segment under Sales Item Data estructure, and the other one as a new segment under POS Transaction.

 

POS TRANSACTION -

> 100000000001

......SALES ITEM DATA-------> 100000000001

............CUSTOMERFIELD1-> VALUE 1

............CUSTOMERFIELD2-> VALUE 2

......CUSTOMERFIELD3----

> VALUE 3

......TAX DATA -

> $ XXX

 

 

At this stage the following tasks has been already performed:

 

1.- Enhanced 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL extractors with new fields (even the hide field checkbox)

2.- RSU5_SAPI_BADI implementation created. A new method called RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL has been created in order to handle with the process of populating the new fields.

3.- Datasources replicated in BW. new fields have been included in the Datasource definition as a result of the replication.

 

The point is that I am trying to figure out where the custom fields are stored in, just in order to retrieve them as a result of the BADI execution.

It seems like the field TRANSACTIONDATA of /POSDW/TLOGS table could contain this data but I don't have a clear idea of how to retrieve the data I need.

 

Could anyone help?

Hi I want to add 4 customize fields to the standard POS Extract : 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL.

 

Can Anybody tell me how to do it ?

Also How to Map these fields with POSDM.

CRM Data Load Issue

Hi Friends,

 

i have created the DSO based on the function module extraction from the CRM system version 2007.

 

when we load the init with data transfer then request is successful and showing zero records.

 

But when we check the records in the CRM system using RSA3 we got 300 records.

 

After debug the load and found that program SBIE0001 is not pulling the data to the BI system.

 

Then we executed the program SBIE0001 using the variant which we found in the SE37 using the ALEREMOTE user in the CRM system.

After refresh then the load is showing 300 records with the previous request which is having zero records.

 

This problem is coming for this extraction only and next all delta loads are getting the correct records.

 

 

Please Let me know any setting we have missed and how to resolve the problem.

 

Please let me know with out executing the program manually in the CRM system load has to get the 300 records.

CKM3N in SAP BW

Hi all!

 

I'm trying to load information from CKM3N to SAP BW.

 

I have use Standard Data Sources and i've got part of the information.

 

From 0CO_PC_ACT_1 and 0CO_PC_ACT_10 I've got the following informations:

 

In the green square I'm able to extract LvL1 and 2 from Transaction CKM3N to BW.

Now, I need to get LvL 3 and 4 as following in the red square:

I couldn't find any DataSource to geet it.

 

Does anyone have done it before? Or someone knows which way to achieve this requirement??

We are getting wrong values on cost component split when we are extracting data from datasource 0CO_PC_PCP_01 ,

 

Please  suggest some OSS notes related to datasource 0CO_PC_PCP_01 ,

 

Actually we have value mismatch in BW (compared with R3)

only for Regular freight (item 10) only,

0FI_GL_10 and 0FI_GL_12 delay and safety interval

Dear Gurus,

 

We´re using BW 7.01 until the end of version migration to BW 7.4 on HANA.
We checked SAP note "1523670 - BW delta extraction: Setting the safety intervals" and some doubts have arisen.
We´re planning to use 0FI_GL_12 instead of 0FI_GL_10 on BW 7.4 on HANA but we need some responses that we didn´t get in this note.

Actually, we use 0FI_GL_10 (based on lower limit interval - 3600secs.) for total records and sometimes, the are not current in BI.

For 0FI_GL_12, we have this same issue? We saw that 0FI_GL_12 use delta queue instead TIMESTAMP as 0FI_GL_10, so when a new registry enter in FAGLFLEXT we can load a new delta bringing actual value?

NewGL and ODP Extractors (0FI_GL_10,0FI_GL_12,0FI_GL_14,0FI_GL_20, 0FI_GL_40)

Dear Gurus,

 

Recently, we installed BW 7.4 on HANA and we would like an orientation to decide which way we go, regarding FI-GL extractors.
We´re using BW 7.01 until the end of migration and we have the scenario bellow:

- 0FI_GL_10: for total records.
- 0FI_GL_14: for line items.

As in the past we have performance problems (especially with the extractor 0FI_GL_14), we found some notes concerning the new FI-GL extractors that have been released to decide, if we continue with the 0FI_GL_10 and 0FI_GL_14 on BW 7.4 on HANA or if we use the new extractors.

0FI_GL_10 vs 0FI_GL_12:

Notes used in analysis:

1153944 - New delta extraction in new G/L
1392817 - Description of the delta procedure for the balance extraction

In our scenario, during the night (03:00 am), we perform load every day for both extractors (0FI_GL_10 and 0FI_GL_14).

During the day, we perform loads only 1 week per month by demand, and in specifically this week, we have an average of 3 loads per day (only 0FI_GL_10).

Our average records is about 15.000 (duration: about 8 minutes) for 0FI_GL_10 and about 300.000 for 0FI_GL_14 (duration: about 20 minutes).

**0FI_GL_11 does not satisfy us because of the Upper safety interval of an hour and we need current data in BI.

Questions:

- It really worth use the 0FI_GL_12 instead 0FI_GL_10 in terms of performance considering our scenario?
- 0FI_GL_14 have a new released? In affirmative case, which option have more performance?
- 0FI_GL_20 and 0FI_GL_40 is used for which purpose?
- What´s the "ODP - SAP (extractors)" option, this is only when ECC extractors are based on HANA too? They have more performance?

Transfer structure field not contained in DataSource

Dear Colleagues,

 

I updated a data source in RSA2 by adding 3 fields. The data source has been activated.

But when I try to test load in RSA3. I got an error "Transfer structure field not contained in DataSource".

 

When I try to check RSDS table, I can see the following content for the data source.

I also try to activate data source via program "RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL".

But I got the following info:

I checked the data source via t-code RSDS, the new added fields were missing.

 

My question is how can I got the updated data source in BW side?

CRM Data Source entries in BW Adapter (_s tables)

Hi Gurus,

 

I am workiing with CRM Data Sourcers ex: (0CRM_SRV_CONTRACT_H). While capturing the transport I think we need to capture BW adapter entries also from the tables SMOXGSEL_S, SMOXHEAD_S, SMOXRELP_S, SMOXSEGREL_S. The entry in the transport request will be like

BW Adapter Metadata (Active Version, _S- Tables)          R3TR      SMO4     XXX(DS Name).

 

It would be great if some one can let me know the procedute on how to capture these entries.

0HR_PT_2 data source splitting the Absences

Hi All,

 

A employee have 1 day absence with total hours of 3.75 . While extraction of records through data source 0HR_PT_2, it is splitting this absence in 3 absences as below:

    

Employe      HR

 

A               0.64

A               2.48

A               0.68

 

This above splitting of the absences result in greater value as compared to Schedule hours.

 

Please suggest.

Conversion of CRM-field for Contract Length/Duration to BW

Hi Experts,

 

We want to transfer the field SCAPPTSEG-TXT_PUB_ID  (contract length) from CRM to BW. The fields content looks like

"DUR####MINUTE     LX#####". We need to do a "conversion" of some kind to be able to read it. We want to have it in the same format as You see it in CRM for example "6 month" . Does anyone know how to do that?

HR Datasources for PB Infotypes

Hi Experts,

 

I´m trying to find the BW standad datsources for the following Infotype:

 

PB0001 – organisatorische Zuordnung

PB0002 – Daten zur Person                        0EMPLOYEE_ID_ATTR (Employee Personal Identification Number Attributes)

PB0006 - Anschriften

PB0022 – Ausbildung                                 0EMPLOYEE_0022_ATTR (Employee Education Attributes)

PB0023 – andere Arbeitgeber

PB0044 – SV - Nummer

PB0105 - Kommunikation


I saw the difference between PA tables and PB tables is that the last one refers to Recruitment


Regarding the tables above, which corresponds to Personal Administration, can someone tell me if there is an specific BW Extractor that extract data directly from PB tables or there is only standard Datasources for PA tables?

SAP Retail/SAP BI - Article hierarchy/Material - how to extract ?

Hello experts,

 

I´m a little bit confused about the article hierarchy in SAP ERP ECC 6.00 and the transfer to SAP BI 7.0.

(1) I understand that the "new" article hierarchy coming from SAP Retail is built up by the several InfoObjects in SAP BI, that is, 0CM_MCATDIV, 0CM_CDT1, 0CM_CDT2 etc. And every of this InfoObjects has its own DataSource in SAP Retail. But these InfoObjects are extracted independent from each other, which means that there´s no hierarchy structure you can use to extract the article hierarchy itself, like e.g. the product hierarchy. So - in SAP BI you have the leading InfoObject 0RF_SKU, where all these objects are attached as attributes, but you have no "real" hierarchy structure. I´ve searched in SDN and OSS, but I´ve found no information about this point.

My question now is: Does anybody of know a method to get these article hierarchy structure extracted from SAP Retail (ECC 6.0) as a hierarchy structure ? And can you tell me how to do this ?

(2) Second I do not understand why in SAP BI the InfoObject 0RF_SKU is used for the article hierarchy (master data), while InfoObject 0MATERIAL is used for article information, too (transaction data, e.g. in different Retail InfoCubes).

Do I have to match the informations from these different InfoObjects ? And if so - how can I match them ?

Is this possible in master data ? Or do I have to do this only in transaction data ?

0CO_PC_01 and PARTOBJ

Hi,

the extractor 0CO_PC_01 return different value for field PARTOBJ depends on the PARTOBJTYP.

 

The record that contain the "0MAT" on PARTOBJTYP contain a value that not correspond at that in PAROB of COSS Table as described in the help site.

 

Could you suggest an workaround?

Application proposal for CO-PA DataSource in BI 7?

I am looking for the option similar to former automatic InfoObject generation. I can´t find it in BI 7.

Do I have to build  all InfoObjects for my CO-PA Data Source manually in BI 7 Or is there a way to generate Infoobjects adequate to my generated CO-PA DataSource?

2LIS_11_VAKON WAERK field unit doesn't match with KNOV WAERS

Hi Friends,

 

I am extracting data from 2LIS_11_VAKON and found that WAERK is the reference unit field for KEBTR(Condition Rate) and KWERT (Condition Value). The values which are coming in the KEBTR and KWERT are matching. But the units in WAERK is not matching with the KONV table or data in VA03 T-code for 'Z' Condition types.

 

For Eg Actual in KONV or VA03 T-code: KEBTR - 127, WAERS - INR, KWERT 20000, WAERS .

Actual in 2LIS_11_VAKON extractor : KEBTR - 127, WAERK - USD, KWERT 20000

 

whereas KEBTR fields unit is in INR.

 

Please help.

data loading hourly delete index and create index are generating abnormal archives in DB level.

Dear Experts,

 

Recently my sales billing data loading hourly to cube , as per sap best practices in process chain delete index & create index are in chain, basis team said create index are creating abnormal archives in database level & server going down, process which i used he saying incorrect,  pls correct me where i am wrong or provide solution, after removed the create index in process chain no issues in DB level basis said , but my query performance very poor. my data model is 3.x
