How to find the table names for a Datasource

Hi Experts ,

 

 

I want to find all the table names and the fields fo the corresponding Data Sources , Can you please advise what would be the best way of finding this information. listed below are few of the datasources.

0DF_IS_DFS_32 DELTA not capable?

hi!

 

I notice that 0DF_IS_DFS_32 DELTA is not capable.

Is there an other option in spite of it to do a infopackage with delta loading ??

 

in my company in the future could be millions of PR and I don't think it is possible that all of them will be  loaded on FULL.

Can anyone pls let me know whether the standard extractor 0DF_IS_DFS_32 is delta enabled or not? If not, can we set that option?

cannot load request to infocube

Hi Gurus,

 

 

I have the following message when I try to load data from a DSO to infocube :

 

Cannot load request to real-time data target

Message no. RSSTATMAN043

 

Diagnosis

You are trying to load data into a real-time InfoCube using a DTP.

This is only possible if the correct load settings have been defined for the InfoCube.

 

 

Procedure

In the object tree of the Data Warehousing Workbench, call Load Behavior of Real-Time InfoCube from the context menu of the InfoCube. Switch load behavior to Transactional InfoCube can be loaded; planning not allowed.

 

 

 

 

 

I have checked my infocube is not a real-time infocube. Could u pls help me in resolving this......

Two delta initialization for same datasource and different infosites

Hi there!

 

I have activated InfoCube 0CCA_C11 that uses DataSource 0CO_OM_CCA_9 for delta extraction. The datasource is using 3.x DTP.

Howevere, this DataSource is also used by InfoCube OCOOM_C02, which is already activated and loaded with data from this DataSource.

So, an InfoPackage with delta initialization is already created for DataSource 0CO_OM_CCA_9 already having InfoCube 0CCA_C02 as data destination.

 

I need to create another Delta Initialization InfoPackage for DS 0CO_OM_CCA_9 having InfoCube 0CCA_C11 as data destination, but SAP BW shows an error message saying that there's already one delta initialization defined.

My question is: is there a way to have two Delta Initialization infoPackages for one DataSource with different data destinations each one?

 

Or do i have to modify the existing Infopackage to load data in both InfoCubes? This would mean to delete all data in infoCube 0CCA_C02, which is not likely to happen.

Cost Element Hierarchy: Remove Controlling Area Prefix?

Hello Experts,

 

The Cost Element Hierarchy has Controlling area pre-fixed. The user just wanted to see Cost Element.

 

For Example

Controlling area Cost Element

XXXX                        YY

XXXX                        ZZ

 

Cost Elemet Hierarchy displays it

 

XXXXYY

XXXXZZ

 

I would like display as

YY

ZZ

 

Is there any way to do it?

 

I would greatly appreicate your help.

UD Connect Connector Problem

We were able to connect SQL Server through UD conenct to SAP BI.

 

But suddenly below error started coming in when I try to create New Data Source.

Extraction (messages): missing messages while executing infoPackag

Hi experts,

 

 

I am facing an error while extracting data from ECC to BW system through InfoPackages ...The InfoPackage status remains Yellow and an error message is shown: Extraction (messages): missing messages while executing infoPackag

 

The RFC connection between the ECC and the BW is well configured and tested as well the profile partner on both ECC and BW.

 

Also the BW RFC user and ECC RFC user have sufficient rights ...

 

I m using the t-code WE05 and SM38 to monitor IDCs, Please find below all snapshots from both BW and ECC, The ECC receives all BW requests, and it generates RSINFO and send them to BW server succefully, but BW server doesn't receive them ...

Datasource based on BKPF table

Hi all,

 

I need to fetch accounting document number based on selective document types and restricting Reverse Document No from BKPF table.

The data source which fulfills my requirement is 0FI_GL_4.

But some document numbers are found missing in the extractor when compared with BKPF table. 0FI_GL_4 is based on both BKPF and BSEG tables, So is that the reason why document no are missing, and if such then is there any standard DS based exclusively on BKPF table.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Include BSEG-BEWAR in 0FI_GL_4

Dear experts,

 

I need to use the 0FI_GL_4 extractor to load GL data from the FI module, but I need to include the BEWAR info from the BSEG table.

 

I have found that it is needed to "extend" the extractor by adding the field, (ZZBEWAR): I followed the instructions and now I can see the field in the GL4, but I have no values, also if in the BSEG the filed is populated.

 

Looking around I found that that the activation of the field in the extractor is not enough, and there are some other steps to do.

 

In some post, (e.g. http://scn.sap.com/thread/2061378), I have found that:

 

Since 0FI_GL_4 Extractor will get data from BSEG table you can add the field in to the extractor.

Process of including the field .

1) Append the Field in the extract structure (what we have just done)

2) need to write include logic to populate the data for 0FI_GL_4

3) Include logic can be performed in CMOD tcode.

 

So it is needed to implement last two steps. In the post there is an example but seems to be generic and not strictly related to the BEWAR field.

 

In particular, I need more info about the correct "EXIT" code needed to fill the extractor. Unfortunately I am not an ABAP programmer and I don't know how to go on.

 

Is there someone who can help?

extraction issue after System Refresh

Hi Guru,

 

We recently had a production refresh for our BW as well as ECC system- so after the refresh Basis ran BDLS and performed required activity

to create RFC and now in BW RSA1 we have correct source system maintained.

 

Extraction for data load are also fine . Just there is issue for GL account master data load....

 

for GL Attribute master data - source system is not mapped to anything -in the transfer rules.( 0SOURCESYSTEM infoobject is derived via Transfer routine).

 

the data load for GL ATTRIBUTE master data is failing with error

"source system assignment failed for XXXX" where XXX is production ECC system - not sure why it is taking production system into account- data laod till PSA is fine - just during update to master data it fails.

 

Note- The load was successfull when i maintained source system ID for production in RSA1--->TOOLS-->aSSIGN SOURCE SYSTEM - but we dont want prodcution system to be part of GL master data - ideally we should be getting correct source system in our master data.

 

We checked that 0SOURCSYSTEM infobject has transfer routine from where source system is derived - so can you advise where could be the problem ? As this looks liek issue to refresh since other system have correct source system..

 

Any tables /t code that we can check- Basis is saying BDLS ran fine.

Precautions while Transporting data sources.

Hi Experts,

 

We are transporting 2 logistic data sources to prod.

2LIS_03_BF

2LIS_05_QE1.

 

So before importing intp production, we need to empty the lbwq nd rsa7. To import successfully what are the pre requisites we need to do?

Business content datasource configuration for EHSM

Dear Friends,

 

I have created few generic datasource and replicated into BW and able to extract data to BW. But unable to extract for standard datasources.

 

 

I have installed and  activated Business content datasources in ECC. Also replicated the same in BW. Then i created the Infopackage and executed but got the below error..

Is it Possible to connec two SAP BW systems to One Source (ERP) System?

If Yes... Why do we get a Error Message?

 

I Cant Connect the SAP BW System to the ERP System which has already another SAP BW system connected.

 

Do you have a Solution for this?

overflow error while loading from flat file to PSA

Hello,

i have created one generic data source to upload the data from flat file. In the data source, i have defined the following field

 

Tquantity  of data type : QUAN ,length = 7 and decimals = 2, external length = 9 and format = Internal.

 

However, when i am loading record with quantity = '261450' , the system is throwing up the error " overflow converting from '261450' when assigning application structure'.

 

Any idea why the system is throwing up this record, even the length of the value passed is only 6 digits.

Runtime error while compressing 0IC_C03 with 2LIS_03_BF

We are facing a runtime while doing a compression on 0IC_C03 with BF extractor. We have checked all the threads and Unfortunately could not find any luck in solving the issues.

 

It ends up throwing a runtime error.

 

Here is the runtime –

3FI_GL_XX_SI: Clearing date is not properly updated in delta mode.

Hi,

 

we are using the new FI-GL extractors (3FI_GL_xx_SI) in delta process "ADDD like 'ADD' but via Delta Queue".

 

Records in delta mode ("D") are extraced:

So the delta mode works generally but we have the issue that we didn't get new records for cleared documents. That means within SAP the document was cleared (Clearing date was updated) but in BI the document it's still uncleared because no new updated delta record are extracted:

SAP Note "1598055" is implemented.

 

Have someone of you an idea? Any help are welcome!

Repeat delta for 0HR_PT_2

Hi,

 

We have a scenario where the delta extractor for 0HR_PT_2 failed on 01.11.2014. The delta has continued to run each day and there has now been 3 successful loads into the datasource.

 

We believe that we are missing data from 31.10.2014 ...is there any way that we can do a repeat delta even though there has been subsequent successful loads?
