2LIS_02_SCL incorrect qty for EKET-WEMNG

I'm having an issue with extractor 2LIS_02_SCL whereby the quantity field WEMNG is populated incorrectly after perform initialization, below are the activities being done so far:

 

1) tick BW & NDI options in BF11

2) industry section set to Standard (Core)

3) Transaction key for BW maintained (BWVORG filled up)

4) LBWE activate datasource and included field MCEKET  WEMNG  (Received)

5) Delete setup table 02, init in OLI3BW

 

After performing these steps, in RSA3, the qty display in field WEMNG doesn't match with PO schedule line GR qty (in tcode ME23N). In my business scenario, there is a Standard PO with multiple GR raised for single schedule line, and PO is over limit delivery enabled. From ME23N, I can see the GR Qty (under Delivery Schedule tab) is 28 qty, and list of related Material Document can be found in Purchase Order History tab as well. Data also visible in table EKET and EKBE, however, the extractor doesn't able to fetch 28 GR qty during initialization.

 

Appreciate if anyone could advise on this issue. Thanks.

Delta for 2lis_03_itm not working

Hello Experts ,

 

I have done initialization without data transfer for 2lis_02_itm.

 

when I run job in LBWE  for delta .

 

It went successfully, however  when check in RSA7  and  click on display it goes on running for more than 15 mins So I stoped the transaction .

 

I checkd LBWQ/SMQ1 , tried to excute LUWs manually there also I got  following message

 

" LUWs in status NOSEND must be picked up by the application "

 

Then When I run Info packege , it went to RED with error : Error Occured in Source system .

 

Kindly suggest .

Initilaizing process for BI/BW datasources

I am new at BI/BW and we have created our own datasources and need to initialize the datasource, over 23 to be exact.  SInce this is our first attempt, we need some information.

 

 

 

How much time will require to initializing each data source
and run each processing chains in BI/BW?  Is there a calculation as 100 records=5 minutes?

 

 

What will be the system impacts during the initialization
and running the process chains in BI/BW?   Can updating of ECC occur while we run the extraction?  Can we run it during the daytime when the business operators are processing dats or at night after all the updating of SAP has occurried?

The Text Field Changed in Delta mechanism for 0FI_GL_14

Hi all,

 

I am using BW extractor 0FI_GL_14 as data source to get GL data daily.

When we tested the delta extraction, everything was good except the Text Field Changed.

 

for example, the text field SGTXT.

In Extractor, it just updated in the same document.

The issue is that the changed value cannot be captured by delta in 0FI_GL_14, that means this record is not in the delta list.

so does anyone know is it the Delta mechanism for 0FI_GL_14 is setup by SAP like this or any other configuration I need to do?

 

Note.

I am using BODS 4.0 CDC to get the delta from 0FI_GL_14, but I assume the delta mechanism should be the same for BW cubes and BODS jobs.

Hi all,

 

I would like to know the difference between datasources 0MATERIAL_ATTR and 0ARTICLE_ATTR.

 

I would appreciate if some of you could explain or indicate me a document.

 

To be more precise,  I am working on a BW 7.3 based on a SAP ECC 6.0 Retail and I would like to extract the data of table MARA into the infoobject 0MATERIAL.

Logic of delta loading 0FI_*_4

Hi experts,

 

I just want to understand, how the Delta loading of 0FI_*_4 extractors are working.

First of all, I'd like to give U the Setting and Delta Information.

 

1. the most important fields of BWOM_SETTINGS table looks like this

0co_om_opa_6 selection company code in extracion

Dear Experts,

 

I am using 0co_om_opa_6, since this datasource has huge data I am getting dumps also loading is running for a long time.

to load data with selection as Company code. 0co_om_opa_6 has no selection company code.

 

I tried to change datasource selection in Tx. RSA6. But this datasource is not allowed to use CCODE selection. For data loading for data processing in IPak I used PSA to avoid more time.

 

Here I have 3.x data flow

Please advise.

Impact of two LIS jobs running at the same time in source system

Hi All,

I would like to understand the impact of two LIS jobs running at the same time in source system.

For example previous instance of  job LIS-BW-VB_APPLICATION_02_100 is still running while the next scheduled run starts.

 

Would such a scenario lead to loss of data ?

WBSE Hierarchy upload error into BI system. Error msg "The level of the node ID 00062627 does not suit the lev. of the higher lev. node  Message no RH202

 

Available threads does not contain suitable answer.

Extractor to pull CC, GL , Vendor , Invoice etc..

We have an requirement to report on combination of fields -> CC , GL , Invoice, Vendor , Document no and others.

 

Is there any standard extractor available for this or any guidance will be helpful.

Extract SAP DATA (FICO/ Accounting data) to SQL server for BPC MS

Hi Guys,

 

What are the options to extract data from SAP ECC using Microsoft SSIS to use it in BPC MS version.

I saw some post but they're all very old. I found also solutions with connectors but very expensive.

SAP system is 720

SQL server is 2012

Enhance 0FI_TV_01 to add fields from table PTRV_SREC

Hi Experts,

 

I need to enhance the data source 0FI_TV_01 to add some of the fields from table PTRV_SREC, but I see a view BIW_FI_TV_SREC with the fields of PTRV_SREC.

 

Now my question is do I need to change the view BIW_FI_TV_SREC and add the other fields I need or append a structure to the data source and write the exit program.

 

Please advice.

STOs(Stock Transfer Order) in BW Sales Order Activity Report

Hello Experts,

 

We are having the requirement to bring STOs in BW Sales Order Activity Report.

 

Now in case of STOs, only PO number is there in ECC there is no sales order or its Item number.

 

Currently we are using 2LIS_11_V_SSL data source,

 

Requirement is as following for the STOs,

 

DateOrderShipmentOpen Orders
1st Feb 2015500 MT0 MT500 MT
2nd Feb 2015500 MT200 MT300 MT
5th Feb 2015500 MT500 MT0 MT

 

Please share your insights on this.

Delta Extractor for AA_AA_11 & 0FI_AA_12 not working

Hello Experts,

 

i have a concern regarding Asset extraction.

We are extracting data in a delta mode for Extractor 0FI_AA_12 after a depreciation has run in a new month

1. Load 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT

2. Load 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR

3. Load 0FI_AA_11

4. Load 0FI_AA_12

Unfortunately the extractor is delivering the already delivered data records for January, including all simulated depreciation
periods until December.

This data volume is about 50 million data records for each time.

 

Settings are “0” for the parameter BWFIAASIM in table BWOM_SETTINGS.

What settings should be set to get delta?

 

If a new settings will be set, how can i test the extraction with just a couple of data to make sure that the delta is working before loading millions of data.

Extractor Enhancement - No history to be updated

Hello Team,

 

         We have a plan to enhance a extractor for which a new field will be added to the extract structure. The user is really not looking for the old records (History) needs to be updated with the new fields values; but they are more concerned with the values to be populated in the filed for the future data.

 

In that case do we need to delete and fill the setup tables ? I guess no.

What action required to be done from the data loading perspective.

Profit Center and Cost Center valid to date

Hi SCN,

 

I am having a problem when it comes to bex query on how I will manage to set my query to read the profit center's / cost center's text for valid to date = "31.12.9999". Also, it appears that I am having an extra line where in a valid to date "31.12.1899" is created, upon DTP loading. Though I am having the correct data extraction from PSA. Can someone please explain this to me? Or am I missing a setting for my master data objects?

I am avoiding this duplication of record since we need to push this data to BPC with its text.

0CO_OM_NWA_2 Extractor

On the pull from ECC using this extractor for 28 days out of 30 it runs in acceptable time.  However 1-2 days a month (always in the first 6 days) it will go from 5 minutes to 5 hours with very comparable records pulled.  Seems that record count does not matter.  Example

2/3/2015 pulled 4113 records in 5hr 40m

2/4/2015 pulled 12,639 records in 1h 54m (more records less time than day before)

2/5/2015 pulled 1268 records in 3m  ( so slightly more than double record on 2/3, but 5h 37m longer to extract)

 

I've checked everything else running in ECC on the days it takes so long compared to the other days and nothing additional is running on the long extraction days.

Here is what I see in the ECC log:

You see the long lag time betweeen 00:42:55 and 06:23:47.  On the days this extracts fast, there are just seconds of a lag time.

We have made the changes BWOM_SETTINGS based on SAP Note 631836.

 

Also, you see in the log it reads "EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 (CMOD) with 4,113 records".    In CMOD on the ECC side there is no code for extractor 0CO_OM_NWA_2 so I am not sure why it would say that.  Looking back at my BIREQU* jobs in SM37, looks like I can't find any extractor that does not show it calls that Customer exit.  Maybe I just haven't noticed that in the past?
