hello, I have a requirement to enhance existing COPA datasource with new fields and populate this new field with historical data in BW and get the delta process running as normal. this is my first time and I would like to get clarifications regarding the steps to take to avoid mishap. The COPA functional consultant has already added the new fields in the operating concern so my job is to delete and recreate the data source with same technical name. - delete COPA datasource with KEB0 - create COPA datasource with KEB0 using same technical name and select the - if i need to lock out the users during transport of the datasource to production - replicate new datasource and delete existing data in production ( DSO and Cube ) - Load full load for historical data - Reset delta time stamp in KEB5 based on last time stamp on KEB2 w thanks, Bhat

Hi,
Is there a way to see al the changes that have been on a certain Process Chain (about a month earlier) ?
I need to get a list of when the Process Chain was Executed and Scheduled \ Unexecuted and Scheduled.

0FI_GL_14 - Missing Posting key (Sometimes)
I am having some problems with 0FI_GL_14. Some document line does not have the posting key filled out in the datasource although the doc. line has a posting key in BSEG. It always seems to be '31' that is missing.
The datasource has been enhanced, but nothing to do with posting key and the exit comes into to play afterwards
We are on SAP ECC 6.0 Vers. 7.0 SP 18, Plug-inn 2005_1_700 SP 18.
Anyone experienced the same problem and is having the solution?

Mass data coming from 2LIS_12_VCSCL and 2LIS_12_VCITM
Dear SAP users,
I hope to find an expert here who could help me understand which processes on ERP side would trigger "mass" data changes on deliveries.
From time to time (2-4 times a year) we face the issue that our daily delta load brings up a higher volume of records than usual (2x - 3x) for no obvious reason. ... I'm not talking about 200k records instead of 100k, but per day we extract about 3 Million records with 2LIS_12_VCSCL and 600k records with 2LIS_12_VCITM. Occasionally one Delta delivers ~6 Mio. records (VCSCL) and 1.2 Mio (VCITM) for one load. The next one has a "normal" size again.
When it happens, we talk to our ERP counterparts, but everytime they tell us, they did not do any special job run or else. So basically there is no real explanation for us what triggers it. FYI: It's definitely not "R"-records (deletion) causing the volume, but regular Before- and After-Image records.
As you might understand, it's not obvious to identify which of the deliveries are part of the "usual" volume and which are additional, when we're talking about that number of records per day.
Therefore I hope to get to know any document/OSS/description etc. which explains functional reasons for mass changes within delivery records.
I tried the community help here, but found posts only about "missing" data ... we have too much ;-)
Any help is appreciated.

BI content - differences in documentation and reality

I need your help in investigation of BI content.
On help.sap.com on the page BI content (versions SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP 1 and EHP 2 both) there is query called FI-AA u2013 Posted Depreciation (0FIAA_C04_Q007):

In our system we have installed bi_cont release 704 level 0004 package 70404, component version EHP 1
But ... in BI content that is presented for activation in the system there is no such query! 
But ... there is another query with the similar name, on another infocube: Depreciation Posted (0FIAA_C02_Q001). For this query there is no info on help.sap.com or sdn.sap.com
So, the question is: there is the problem? Is our business content installed unproperelly? Or is is mistake on help.sap.com description?
Based on the answer we will select different approaches for our project

Need help on extractors
Hi Experts,
Client gave me report pack which contains the following below reports:
Employee Cost,
Group Capex Summary,
Capital Program Management,
Group Cashflow statement,
Group Balance sheet,
Overdue debtors and Debtors Analysis
Opex report
Currently the above mentioned reports are running on non-sap system. The client is implementing new ECC-Finance, HCM, BW, BPC on HANA enterprise.
Can some one help me what are the BW DataSources I need to use to pull the data from ECC to BW for above mentioned reports and how do to I identify them.

How to Activate Condition Record RL01 for info record
Dear Guru,
Issue: User wants to maintain Condition type RL01 under info record, it means when user try to create Info record, All conditions type comes up like ZBRS, RA00, RUB1, MM00, ZA01 (whatever conditions record we have maintained ) ,but RL01 is not coming
We are using Custom ZM0000 pricing procedure for info record and
if I go M/08, I do see my conditions type RL01 under this procedure
But when I try to use this RL01 under conditions record on info record, it is not coming .
Please help me what i am missing over her

SAP COPA datasource delta Method - Generic Delta vs Time Stamp MGT in Profitability Analysis
Hello, I recently made enhancement to COPA datasource, the change requires adding new fields from operating concern and I have followed the stand process of deleting and recreating with same name with TCODE KEB0. I transported my developments to production, and did full load for fiscal year 2014 - 2015 inorder to populate the new fields with historical data. Everything seems fine as I could reconcile the report before and after data deletion and reloading. Once the report is reconciled, I deleted INITIALIZATION for source system and did INIT without data transfer. Next step is to set the
delta time stamp with TCODE KEB5 only to found below error "datasource is defined as generic delta"
I have checked online but haven't found suitable solution yet. I checked table ROOSGENDLM and found the that the Current pointer was set to 20150614164704 and repeat pointer was empty.
I did delta load just to see if it will work and current pointer was set to 20150614181158 and repeat pointer 20150614164704.
I got zero records for the delta load but I am not surprised as zero records are usually loaded during weekends.
Also, from RSA2 my datasource extraction method is set to Timestamp with 1800s upper interval time limit.
Questions.
- How can I revert back to using timestamp
- Is there an issue in using Generic delta
- What kind of problem will I face in the future

0CFM_Init_Positions issue

I am trying to extract the data from 0CFM_INIT_POSITIONS and 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS.
I have gone through the document on the below link:
When I checked my system, got the following config there:
Pic 1) Define Infosources for Position Initialization
Pic 2) Define Infosources for Delta Initialization
I have following Questions:
1) Are these entries correct? Or should be there only one entry?
2) What is date of position? I read the SAP F1 help but couldn't understand. Can anybody explain in the simple way.
3) In BW, What is the flow i.e. Infosource, DSO, Cube, Multiprovider? Also 3.x or 7.x?
4) Are there any standard Queries for CFM ? If yes, provide more info.
5) After all the above config I am getting below error while extracting data from 0CFM_INIT_POSITIONS through RSA3.

Field populated in RSA3, not populated in PSA
Hello Friends
There are some posts touching this issue, but with no clear solution or referring different issues, actually. So my problem is as follows:
There is a Data Source based on Function Module. One of the fields gets populated correctly when running in RSA3, but it is not populated in PSA, when loading data using regular Info Package with no selections. Interesting: When using selections in Info Package, the value of the field appears in PSA populated correctly. Data Source has been replicated and activated many times. There are no dumps and no errors. There is no difference if the Info Package is full or delta initialization mode.
Every hint is appreciated.

Create a Generic Datasource based on monthly snapshot ?
Hi ,
We need data from one ecc table which will extract the stock data from ecc to bw. Its a monthly snapshot to get the plant and material data. Can anyone advise on the steps and the process for the same. I know there are many links and forums for generic datasource creation. But what logic to use and which generic datasource extraction to use is my question. Please advise how to do my inital requirement gathering.

0FL_GL_14 and 0FI_GL_10 datasource doesnt bring L1 and L2 ledger data
Hi Experts ,
We have ECC 606 version as source system for our BI 7.3
At ECC side , I can see data for General ledgers 0L , L1 AND L2 in FAGLFLEXA AND FAGLFLEXT tables .
We have installed 0FI_GL_14 AND 0FI_GL_10 datsource , when I extract data for these Datasurces we got only 0L data .
These datasources didn't fetch data for L1 and L2 .
Kindly suggest is there any other datasources for FAGLFLEXA AND FAGLFLEXT tables which can bring data for L1 and L2 also .
Or Should go for Generic datasource ?

Delta infopackage selectios for Data Source 0FI_AA_12
Dear Experts,
We have used the data source "0FI_AA_12" in BW for one of our requirement. This Data Source is Delta enabled but when we trigger Delta(After Initialization without any selections) it is getting failed with below error,
Error message from the source system the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.
Diagnosis - An error occurred in the source system. The error occurred in Extractor .
Further analysis: Caller 09 contains an error message. Refer to the error message.
Whereas Deltas are running fine if we put selection on only few Company Codes/Depreciation Area/Fiscal Year/Period(Its getting failed if we put selections on all Company Codes/Depreciation Areas). Here we need delta to run for all Company Codes as well as for all Depreciation Areas for all Fiscal Year/periods. Kindly let me know if anyone has faced such issue and how it can be resolved?
As a temporary fix we are planning to put selection on Fiscal Year/Period as 000.2014 to 012.2020

Will delta extract for CRM datasources bring transaction along with all items?
Hi All,
I am using various CRM datasources like 0CRM_QUOTA_ORDER_I, 0CRM_SALES_ORDER_I etc. I am looking for information that when the delta extract runs for these datasources will the entire transaction records along with items get extracted.
What I mean is, if a quote has 2 items 1000, 2000. I extract this data today. Now item 2000 changes and item 3000 gets added to this quote. If the delta runs tomorrow, will only item 2000 and 3000 gets extracted (or) will all the items for quote including 1000 get extracted.
