Problem with WBS Element conversion

Dear All,

 

We have build custom datasource in ecc using function module. we have wbs element field PROID datatype is NUMC and lenght 8 and it's data elemnt is PS_PSP_PNR  in the structure.

When we checked the data in RSA3 for this datasource the value's(XXXX.AF14.W.001.041) are populating correctly to this field(WBS ELE). but when we extracted the data into PSA it's showing as '6' and even after activation in DSO.

In BW we have created custom IO as NUMC 8 and output lenght is 24 , conversion routine : ABPSP (same conv. rout. is being used in ecc)..

Difference between 0ps_dat_nwa and 0ps_nwa_eva data source.

Hi  Guys,

 

I have to build a project system progress report.   There are two datasource 0PS_DAT_NWA - dates in network  &  0PS_NWA_EVA  - Progress in network activity element.    I am confuse which datasource I have to user for this report and what is thse difference between these two.

 

0PS_DAT_NWA-  gives  3000 rcords in RSA3

0PS_NWA_EVA -  gives 1244 records  in RSA3

 

 

0PS_DAT_NWA giving all Project but 0PS_NWA_EVA giving few projects.  Please let me know what is the difference .

FBL3N vs 0FI_GL_4 datasource

Hi All,

 

I have developed data flow with 0FI_GL_4 ->DSO->CUBE to read data from FBL3N (GL line items) but I have problem with reconciliation.

 

My comparison as follows.

 

Step-1: In FBL3N, GL account, comp.code, period and checked normal items under type values are equal to BW DSO values but when I check Normal items, Noted Items & Parked items under Type  then the values are not able to match with BW DSO.

 

Any specific reason why I could not get noted & parked items?

0FI_GL_4 delta load issue

Hi Experts,

 

 

We are not able to load the delta for 0FI_gl_4 datsource. This is the first time we are performing the load in a new ECC system.

Full load is successfully completed and while doing the delta its taking lot of time to load and finally the job is failing in source system with short dump

TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED .


We are performing the below steps.


Init w/o datatransfer(comp code selection)

full load(particular company code)

delta



If any one has faced the similar issue pls let us know.

Rule (target field: 0NOTIF_PROC): No source unit assigned

Hi ,

 

While creating transformation between data source 2LIS_05_Q0NOTIF and cube 0QM_C10 I an getting error as "Rule (target field: 0NOTIF_PROC): No source unit assigned" for 0NOTIF_PROC.

I have searched many forums and found that there should be some Unit value needed and needs to be mapped. In my case I am not sure what would be the Unit value for 0NOTIF_PROC.

If any one have already worked on QM module please assist me on this.

Error while activating transfer rule - no component /BIC/ZREF_KEY1

Hi,

Some time ago I created custom characteristic zref_key1 in reference with 0ref_key1.

Now I try to add texts to my new characteristic.

 

With 0ref_key1 I:

- set "with texts" on (medium lenght text exist)

- application component = LO-IO

- info area = 0CA_IO

Characteristic activated - OK

 

Then I created a transfer rule for zref_key1 with a infosource 0customer_text.

The problem is when I try to activate the transfer rule. The error: KosInf=ZREF_KEY1$T ŻrInf=0CUSTOMER_TEXT. No component exists with the name "/BIC/ZREF_KEY1" line 34.

 

What kind error is that.How to solve this.

0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 Not capture deleted records

Hi, All.

 

We upgrade our CRM system and faced with problem. Datasource 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 don't capture deleted records. When we delete records from CRM system, we don't see any BDOCs(SMW01) what say about records was deleted. Somebody know how resolve this problem?

0PCCP_M10_Q0001 error

Hello,

 

We're currently in a catch 22.  We've installed standard content for Product Cost Controlling found here:

 

SAP Library - Reporting Financials (EhP3)

 

However, with the Material Cost reports, we're running into an issue.  If we try to open the reports via BEx Query Designer, we get an error:

It would appear that the issue here is related to the infoobject 0LOTSIZE_CM.  Basically this object is set as an aggregation using 0CCOMP_HLP for reference.  Ironically, 0CCOMP_HLP has a description of "Input Characteristic: Do not use in queries".  The Cubes that this MultiProvider is using, does not have this object, thus creating an error because it can't reference the object it's set to reference.  As this is standard SAP, I don't want to necessarily re-create the Cubes because I would expect that they would work as this is standard SAP Business Content.  Anyone know if there's a note specific to this InfoProvider?  Or will I get stuck having to create our own custom Cubes and new MultiProvider?

how to move queues from SMQ1 to RSA7

Hi Frzz,

 

I have below list of delta queues in SMQ1 and i need to move these into RSA7. As i know we can use programs like RMBWV3* for the queues MCEX*. But not sure how to move below queues into RSA7.

 

Could some one please guide me.

Generic Datasource Delta Extraction multiple times

Dear Experts,

 

I have created one generic data source based on  ZTABLE. Ztable contains Date field(ZPRDDT) and time of entry field(ZTENTRY).

 

User needs multiple times of DELTA Extraction in a day.

 

Please suggest me how I need set delta mechanism with time stamp?

BW activities in the case of Unicode conversion

Hi Experts,

 

We are in the process of converting of SAP BW landscape from Non unicode to Unicode.

 

The Source system has been already converted to Unicode, I have few questions and need your opinions

 

1. What would be the status of delta loads once the system is converted to Unicode.

2. Should I have to do full repair for my data

3. What would be the testing for my ABAP code in transformation and update rules.

4. Since each data load creates and executes a background program will I have to test for each and every data load.

0HR_PT_3 long runtime and no data

Hi all

 

I currently trying to get data from 0HR_PT_3 which is quite a problem.

 

First of all the extraction process runs for about 5 to 6 hours and then comes up with no data :-(.

 

I have tried the following

 

Applied adv. correction from note 908226 regard. performance issue on 0HR_PT_3

 

Report quota types have been maintained in customizing (note 184266)

 

Verified that 'Earliest time data carry-over' and 'Latest time data carry-over' have appropriate values (Note 353177 - however as we are trying to do a full load this actually doesn't matter).

 

Have anyone worked with this DS before and exprienced the same issues ?.

 

Any help much appreciated

2LIS_05_NOTIF and 2LIS_05_ITEM

Hello all,

 

Could anyone please help me.

 

I am working on datasources 2LIS_05_NOTIF and 2LIS_05_ITEM - (QM)

 

I installed business content for the above 2 Datasources. It loads directly to cubes.

 

2LIS_05_NOTIF ->0QM_C10 and

2LIS_05_ITEM  -> 0QM_C09.

 

I dont find any DSO for the above datasources in business content.

 

Actually would like to load data first to DSO and then Cube. I dont find any DSO in business content. Is there any way/possible  to  load data first to DSO and then Cube. If so what should I do like how to decide key fields and data fields etc. Can I check the keys fields of the tables involved and decide the key fields and data fields for DSO?

 

When loading to cubes directly, does it requires downtime?

 

Please assist.

Pending BW Queues in SMQ1 with NOSEND status since long

HI All,

 

There are pending Queues in SMQ1 for BW in SAP CRM Productionsystem with NOSEND status for almost 3 months and they are not getting cleared even after extracting all the data for the datasources showing in SMQ1. But there BDOCS in these are from Nov 2013 to till yesterday.

 

So my question is :

 

1. How can i check whether to delete these queues or not?

2. How can we avoid these pending queues moving further?

 

Please suggest.

Hi,

 


I was trying to laod tarnscation data to "Headcount and Personnel Actions - 0PA_C01".

I have loaded related master data first.

when i am loading i am getting following error saying "No SID found for value '1 ' of characteristic 0CALQUART1"

 

I guess we will not load master data to a time Character.

 

Q) If not why am I getting above said error?

 

Experts please need you help to solve the issue. therefore i can load

Error RRK_VCUBE_GET_CURRENT_HIEDIRData - BI Content 7.57

Hello,

 

we work with BW 7.4 and the BI Content Version 7.57. Now, we have active the 0FI_GL data flow. When we want display data from cube we get the following Error:

I have found OSS Notes with error correction for Release 7.0 but not for my version.

 

Have you got a workaround?

Extracting data from APO using a MALORE DataSource

Hi,

I am using a MALORE DataSource to extract data from APO and the system configuration is such that we have Products assigned against multiple different Resources.

However, when checking the extraction using RSA3, I have noticed that Consumption values appear to be against all Resources (which is what was expected, and is OK), but that the Production Quantity values are only assigned against one Resource, and not all Resources.

Would someone be able to help explain if this is 'as expected' and if so, why Production Quantity values are assigned against one Resource only?

APO - MALORE datasource

Hi

 

Can someone explain the logic in relation to extracting data from APO datasource 9AMALORE.

I really need an explanation on how this extractor works. The problem is related to "Labour resources" and "Machine resources"

 

When check a material in APO planning book for resources I can see data on both resources:

Example: Key figure (standard 9AFPROD)

 

In APO for cal/month: 11.2010

Labour resource      16.000

Machine resource     16.000

 

However In the BW report:

Labour resource      16.000

No data exists on the Machine resource

 

Looks right when checking the extractor in APO, However only Labour resource contains data = 16.000. Machine resource = 0.

 

Can anyone explain.
