Trouble with reinit of 2LIS_03_BF

Hi Gurus!!!

 

I am facing a special and urgent situation with the extractor 2LIS_03_BF. The problem is that I is not extracting all the records that need to extract to BW.

 

According to this document (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-31044) I have done step by step all directions according to reinit this extractor. The difference according to the needs of the model have OLI1BW transaction in which the posting date range is 01/10/2013 - 31/12/2099, but the BW extractor is carried forward from 17/01/2014. I should note that the model which feeds on this exhaust is not a standard model.

 

I will be missing some configuration in ECC for the data capture extractor from the date which I am pointing at OLI1BW transaction?

Enhancement of Standard DataSource: 2LIS_02_ITM...

Dear All,

 

I have been using DataSource: 2LIS_02_ITM for couple of months and I have loaded data into (Full and Deltas). But now I have a requirement to calculate Net GRN. For the calculation of Net GRN I need (Movement Types: 101 GR goods receipt, 102 GR for PO reversal, 122 RE return to vendor and 124 GR rtrn blocked stck).

 

I have checked my standard DataSource: 2LIS_02_ITM and it does not have field(BWART) which captures movement types. I've checked the communication structure but could not locate field (BWART). I have tried other possible ways to calculate Net GRN from standard DataSource:2LIS_02_ITM like using the field: ROCANCEL but could not succeed. Now, I'm left with the option to do the enhancement of Standard DataSource with append structure by adding field: BWART from table T156HT. I have following questions:

 

1. I have not done enhancement of Standard DataSource before, how to do it according to my scenario?

2. How should I get historical data for the DataSource: 2LIS_02_ITM which will have movement type of PO also?

3. How this datasource will be populated after the enhancement of field: BWART?

4. In BW I have InfoObject: 0movetype and it does not have Text or Attribute DataSources for Master Data, how to load its Master Data?

5. Will I be using this InfoObject: 0movetype for storing newly added movement types?

6. What's the purpose of ROCANCEL field and LOEKZ field in the DataSource?

 

I will appreciate your assistance a lot.

0HR_PY_1_CE Best Practice

Hi all,

I have a requirement to load the data from 0HR_PY_1_CE datasource. I read lots of posting and still like to get some specific solution.

 

Planning is to use SPO base Data Target.

 

1: Should I map DS directly to CUBE or use DSO in between. Which cube or DSO if any exist in BI content.

 

2: I think this DS has ADD function, so we can just load it to cube bypassing DSO. Is it ture

 

3: Since it has no init w/o data load option and init with data load everything, Beg date and end date selection does not do anything. What is the best practice to load data.

 

 

 

Appreciate if you could light up your thought.

0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 (Activities) Duration

Hi,

my  '0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 (Activities)' datasource in CRM 7.0 does not calculate both 'DURATION (Duration)' and 'FTF_DURATION (Duration: Mins)'. These fields are always equal to zero for my specific custom Service Tickets (ZHDC).

For another custom transaction type, the durations  are calculated.

 

How can I retrieve the duration values for my Service Tickets?

Populating 0STABUPSYS0 from 0BPARTNER_ATTR

Field 0STABUPSYS0 states that it is the Partner: Archive/Delete filed.  There is a field called XDEL from the 0BPARTNER_ATTR DataSource that holds the Archive value.  The issue that I see is one is a flag (XDEL) and the other is a NUMC field?  So we can't store 'X' into the NUMC field.  Is this the correct mapping or should we be putting this XDEL field into a different target InfoObject?

populating data to newly appended zzfields in the datasource

Hi,

 

I have added 2 zzfields to the extract structure ? its working perfect ? Data showing it ECC and BW. Now I know how to do a repair full load to bring the historical data for these 2 fields to the DSO. But my question is, We have the historical data of 5 years in the infocube and how do we get the historical data for these 2 fields in the infocube ? I mean as the DSO has the overwrite feature, it will pull all the historical data with the repair full request from ECC, correct ? But how do we load this to the infocube. We do not want to delete the existing data in the infocube, is it possible without deleting the existing data ? Please help.

aggregates table name for an infocube ?

May I know the aggregate table name for an infocube ? I want to see the loaded aggregate for an infocube, is there a physical table name created when we have aggregate for an infocube ? or the aggregates are created from the existing fact table of the ic ? Please reply.

how to move queues from SMQ1 to RSA7

Hi Frzz,

 

I have below list of delta queues in SMQ1 and i need to move these into RSA7. As i know we can use programs like RMBWV3* for the queues MCEX*. But not sure how to move below queues into RSA7.

 

Could some one please guide me.

History Data in InfoCube 0SD_C14 "Backorders"

Hi experts,

 

we have activated the SAP BI Standard InfoCube 0SD_C14 "Backorders".

 

With the help of this Cube we want to report the Backorders week by week (History Data).

 

Example:

 

Sales Doc. schedule line date = 01.11.2013, 5 pieces -> actual date of delivery = 23.02.2014, 5 pieces

Data load into Cube 0SD_C14 on 22.02.2014 -> 113 days backlog

Data load into Cube 0SD_C14 on 23.02.2014 -> 0 days backlog

 

The 0CALDAY, 0CALMONTH and 0CALWEEK is derived on the systemdate.

 

For my example test order ...256 the Backlog history works fine (22.02.2014 = 113 days, 23.02.2014 = 0 days). 5 pieces delivered on 23.02.2014

For the other sales documents I need also the Backlog history, After the data load I expect 153 days (...255), 287 days (...257), 151 (...259) on 23.02.2014.

 

Any ideas or experiences with the history data in 0SD_C14?

Pending BW Queues in SMQ1 with NOSEND status since long

HI All,

 

There are pending Queues in SMQ1 for BW in SAP CRM Productionsystem with NOSEND status for almost 3 months and they are not getting cleared even after extracting all the data for the datasources showing in SMQ1. But there BDOCS in these are from Nov 2013 to till yesterday.

 

So my question is :

 

1. How can i check whether to delete these queues or not?

2. How can we avoid these pending queues moving further?

 

Please suggest.

Wrong data from 2LIS_03_BX

Hi,

 

I found out that in some cases the stock inizialization datasource 2LIS_03_BX (Tcode MCNB) extracts

incorrect data.

I compared data result between Tcode MCNB and stock tables (MBEW, MARD) and got different values.


Does anyone encounter this issue?

Data Source Sales Conditions CRM

Hi all,

 

I need a data source for CRM sales conditions. Are there any standard data source for this information?

 

This information is in the tcode crmd_order in the CRM system, image attached.

 

I found another source of data (0CRM_SALES_ORDER_I) but only has items sales, I need the conditions.

CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW in MCEX_Update_04

We just started to get the following error.

 

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW', was not
  caught in
procedure "MCEX_UPDATE_04" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
  clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
An overflow was discovered in an ongoing arithmetical operation with
operands of type P. Possible causes are:

1. The result field of type P is too small for the result.

2. The result or a intermediate result has more than 31 decimal places.

 

This is the SAP code that is failing.

Article number is missing for a sales document in VBAP table compared to BW data.

Hi,

 

We are loading data from 2LIS_11_VAITM and 2LIS_11_V_SSL to 0SD_O01, when we execute a report based on this DSO we are getting Article number 2224859 (for example) for sales order 573345 (for example) but when we check in VBAP/VA03 for the same sales order/document (573345)  we don't have the Article Number.

 

It is delta load to the DSO from the two datasources and will executed daily once.

 

Please suggest me any one on this.

2LIS_03 Extractors for new Plant and Company Code

Hi Gurus,

 

I would like to seek for your help regarding 2lis_03 inventory extractors.

 

- May I know the sequence of initialization for 2lis_03_bx, 2lis_03_bf and 2lis_03_um? How about the dependencies of each?

- How about if there are new Company Code or Plant to 2LIS_03_UM, should I do the reinitialize again of the 3 extractors? or the delta would take all the new records regardless of the plants that were maintained from the first init?

Can someone please help me in finding out the table where actually the Bex Elements ( rows, columns , free characteristics and key figures ) stored.Is there a single place in BW where I can extract this information easily ( without runing the Bex Query).

Work center view from PP - Enhance Plan values VGW01, VGW02, VGW03, etc. in DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL

Hi experts,

 

we use the SAP BI Standard InfoCube 0PP_C03 "Plan/Actual Comparison Operation/Work Center View" with the DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL "Work Center View from PP/PP-PI".

 

We want to report the plan and actual values each operation. The relevant actual values are available and extracted in the DataSource:

 

ISM01   QUAN    15    3    Conf. activty 1
ISM02   QUAN    15    3    Conf. activty 2
ISM03   QUAN    15    3    Conf. activty 3
ISM04   QUAN    15    3    Conf. activty 4

 

 

The plan values that we need are the same values as in t/code CO03 >>> tab Standard vals

Necessary plan values:

 

VGW01    1 Types    VGWRT    QUAN    9    3    Standard Value

VGW02    1 Types    VGWRT    QUAN    9    3    Standard Value

VGW03    1 Types    VGWRT    QUAN    9    3    Standard Value

VGW04    1 Types    VGWRT    QUAN    9    3    Standard Value

 

 

In the LO Cockpit (LBWE) for DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL are only the Unit-Values (VGE01, VGE02, etc.) available

Here (on the right (MCAFVG) or left side of LBWE) we miss the relevant plan values (VGW01, VGW02, etc.) , to enhance the DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL on a easy way.

 

Any experiences with the enhancement of the plan fields VGW01, VGW02, etc. or any ideas why this specific fields are not available to enhance in the LBWE? It´s curious, because the Unit-Values VGE01, VGE02, etc. are available.

When running a query of a 0IC_C03 cube copy inventory shows as blank

When loading the 0IC_C03 cube copy ZMM_C01 Cube: Material Stocks/Movements, if there
is no movements for that day in a plant the inventory values do not show when we run a query on that key date
When we create a movement type and run the extraction then the ending inventory values
will show when we run a query usig that key date.
So if there are no movements types for a plant  then the inventory balance does not show up in our query reports. Once we post a
movement type for a plant and extract data then rerun our reports then the inventory balances show up.

Extract Article (Retail) Hierarchy

Hello,

 

I am currently faced with the following issue, for which I would really appreciate any feedback from any Retail BI specialist.

 

Hierarchies are created in TA VVMATGRP01/02/03 in R3 (Retail). When creating the hierarchy there is a flag requesting whether or not the hierarchy should be made available in bw. The table used is WRF_MATGRP_HIER. As this resorts under Category management I would have assumed being able to use extractor 0MATERIAL_CDTH_HIER or 0CM_SKU_CDTH_HIER which can be used to populate a hierarchy on 0MATERIAL. These extractors however do not allow to select any hierarchy created on R3. The only extractor that does any values is 0RF_HIEID_TEXT (the extractor brings the text values for the hierarchies and these can be uploaded to 0CM_HIEID)

 

I did found one note 431714 (which I implemented). This note explains how to customize the control parameters for the connection of the R/3 hierarchy to the BW System. This note however doesn't do the trick.

 

We are using ECC6 and NW2004s.

 

So if anybody was able to extract these hierarchies and is willing to share his/hers knowledge, it would really be appreciated.
